About Wallet Vigilante
Your guardian against cryptocurrency threats
Our Mission
Wallet Vigilante is dedicated to making cryptocurrency safer for everyone. We provide free, comprehensive security scanning across multiple blockchains to detect and prevent crypto threats including address poisoning, dust spam, look-alike addresses, fake tokens, phishing messages, frequency mimicry, and dangerous token approvals before they compromise your wallet. We continuously evolve our detection engine to stay ahead of emerging attack methods.
What We Do
Multi-Chain Protection
We support 6 major blockchains — Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Tron — with plans to expand to additional networks as the ecosystem evolves.
Advanced Detection
Our multi-layered detection engine identifies suspicious addresses, deceptive transactions, and emerging attack patterns using advanced pattern recognition and behavioral analysis.
Real-Time Analysis
Get instant security assessments with detailed threat scores and risk levels for each suspicious transaction in your wallet history.
Why It Matters
Attackers use deceptive tactics — lookalike addresses, dust spam, fake tokens — to trick you into sending funds to the wrong wallet. These schemes exploit the common habit of copying addresses from transaction history, and victims often don't realize the mistake until it's too late. Wallet Vigilante identifies these threats before they cause harm.
Free to Use
Wallet Vigilante's core scanning is free and always will be. We believe everyone deserves access to crypto security tools without barriers.
In the future, we plan to offer optional premium features such as real-time wallet monitoring, periodic security reports, and advanced analytics. Core scanning and threat detection will always remain free.
Privacy & Security
Your security and privacy are our top priorities. We've built Wallet Vigilante with privacy-first principles to ensure your information stays safe.
No Personal Data Storage
We do not save your wallet address or any personal information. When you scan a wallet, the analysis happens in real-time and no identifying information is stored. For statistics purposes, we only track anonymized hashes that cannot be reverse-engineered to reveal your actual address.
No Wallet Signatures Required
We never ask you to connect your wallet or sign any transactions. Simply paste your public address — we perform read-only analysis through public blockchain APIs. No wallet extensions, no signatures, no permissions.
Future Security Enhancements
As we introduce premium features with user accounts, we're committed to maintaining the highest security standards:
- End-to-End Encryption: All stored user data (wallet addresses, email) will be encrypted
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Secure login with authenticator apps and email confirmation
- Privacy-First Design: We will only store what is strictly necessary to deliver the service
- Regular Security Audits: Independent security reviews to ensure your data stays protected
Our Promise: Your trust is invaluable. We will never sell, share, or monetize your personal data. Wallet Vigilante exists to protect and empower the crypto community.
Understanding Risk Scores
Your wallet's Risk Score reflects the total threat from all detected poisoning attacks. Here's how we calculate it:
Your Overall Wallet Score
The score shown at the top is the sum of all unique attacking addresses found in your wallet. Each malicious address is scored once per attack type it performs.
Attack Type Points
Lookalike Address: +40 points
Address matches prefix/suffix of your frequent contacts
Phishing Message: +30 points
Transaction contains scam messages (fake recovery services, etc.)
Dust Transfer: +25 points
Received small "dust" amounts to pollute your transaction history
Frequency Mimic: +20 points
Mimics addresses you frequently interact with
Fake Token: Up to +50 points (capped)
Lookalike tokens (fake USDT/USDC), wrong contracts, or scam tokens
Token Approval (Ice Phishing): +15 points (unlimited) / +5 points (limited)
Detected approve() or delegate calls to unknown addresses, risking token drainage
Risk Severity Levels
Critical threat. Multiple attack indicators detected. High likelihood of being a malicious address designed to steal your funds.
Moderate risk. Some suspicious patterns detected. Exercise caution and verify carefully before sending funds.
Minor concern. Low-level suspicious activity. May be a false positive, but still worth reviewing.
How Scoring Works
Individual Attacker Scores
Each unique attacking address is scored once per attack type it performs:
- 85 points:One address doing Lookalike (+40) + Dust (+25) + Frequency Mimic (+20)
- 65 points:One address doing Lookalike (+40) + Dust (+25)
- 40 points:One address doing only Lookalike
- 25 points:One address sending only Dust transfers (even if 10+ transactions)
Total Wallet Score Examples
Your overall score is the sum of all unique attackers:
- 325 points:13 unique dust attackers (13 × 25 points each)
- 110 points:1 multi-type attacker (85) + 1 dust-only attacker (25)
